Establishing a reference ranking for biodiversity-friendly practices

Puzzling Biodiversity's aim is to develop a socio-ecosystem biodiversity friendly practices reference ranking by joining expertise.

The research hypothesis is that a consensus amongst experts on a practices reference ranking according to an expected biodiverrsity gain scale exists.

Those reference rankings will allow renaturation, restoration and conservation projects' evaluations.

Program

Puzzling Biodiversity is a co-constructed project by the French National History Museum, the French Foundation for Research on Biodiversity and Carbon 4.

Biodiversity friendly practices comparison

Positioning practices relatively to others on an "expected biodiversity gain" scale seems more achievable than estimating them a biodiversity value. The advantages of a practices list are operationality, understandability and evolvability.

This website aims at gathering insights, consolidated by their experience and knowledge, from the biodiversity experts community in order to assess the consensus between their stances.
